Get tickets for a beautiful bike ride to the Devils Dyke Valley, a perfect family day out in Brighton!
After a brief test ride to ensure you're comfortable on the bike, you'll head to Devil's Dyke, a 100-meter deep V-shaped valley, the largest in the UK!
You'll descend into the historic town of Poynings, gazing up at the 700-foot-high hilltop known as Dyke Hill. You'll take a short break at the Royal Oak village pub before continuing to the next village, Fulking. Here, you can check out the spring at the end of the village street, which is said to have never run dry!
This is an excellent spot for a coffee or refreshment while overlooking the spring. You'll then climb back up the 700-foot hill, stopping to explore the ancient Flint oven. Continue along the ridge of the South Downs Way, enjoying scenic sea views and vistas of the North Downs. Along the way, you'll stop to see the remains of the Isolation Hospital used for smallpox.
The ride will conclude back at Devil's Dyke Car Park, a perfect spot for a photo. You'll then drive back down to Brighton!
