Wildwood is the ideal destination for a family adventure. The park features a playground where children can burn off energy, while parents relax in the scenic picnic areas, dotted within the woodlands.
What to expect at Wildwood Kent:
- Woodland: Enjoy walking through 40 acres of beautiful and enchanting ancient woodland, while spotting animals in their natural habitats.
- Animals: Bears, wolves, bison, elk, badgers, arctic foxes, wild boar, deer, lynx, wildcat, owls, storks, and snakes are among some of the many animals you will have the chance to spot. Wildwood's collection is unique in that it is specialised in native British species.
- Nature trails: A fun adventure for the kids, with a prize at the end.
- Play area: Featuring a drop slide, two zip slides, towers, and classic swing sets. Separate play area for under 5’s.
- Cafe: Feeling peckish? Visit one of the catering outlets to pick up a quick snack or lunch. There's also the chance to enjoy freshly made pizzas in a picturesque setting. It’s the perfect way to unwind after exploration and play.

Yes, the park is wheelchair accessible. There is disabled parking, toilets and many paths have been surfaced with compact stone chippings to improve accessibility.
The opening hours for Wildwood Trust in Kent are as follows:
- Winter: 29th October - 28th March - 10am til 4pm
- Summer: 29th March - 26th October - 10am til 5pm
The park is open everyday of the year except for Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
- Last entry to the park is an hour before closing time.
- The cafe closes an hour being closing time.
Due to the nature of the site, Wildwood Kent does not permit dogs onsite.
