Filers Travel: Bus #301 from Ilfracombe or Combe Martin stops near Watermouth Castle entrance.

By Car:
Watermouth Castle is located on the main A399 coast road, midway between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin (Sat Nav reference: EX34 9SL). It is approximately three miles from Ilfracombe.
From Barnstaple, take the B3230 to Ilfracombe and continue on the A399 towards Combe Martin. Watermouth Castle is on the right hand side.
There is a large car park, and all parking is free.
By Train:
The nearest railway station is Barnstaple. There is no direct bus, you will have to go via Ilfracombe and change for Combe Martin. Taxi's are also an option.

Yes! All ages are welcome at Watermouth Castle and Theme Park, and there's something for everyone! Whether you're a young adventurer or an elder explorer, you'll have a great time discovering the tea rooms, museums, captivating views and amazing attractions.
Most rides are suitable for children ages 2 to 13 and will require an adult to accompany them. Watermouth Castle requests that you supervise children using the play area as well.
Canine companions are more than welcome at Watermouth, but owners are asked to follow the Castle Canine Code:
- Only friendly, well-behaved best friends are allowed
- Hydrate your puppy pal with water bowls placed around the site
- Dog waste disposal bags are also available
- Pooches and their owners must behave responsibly and respectfully
- No dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act are permitted (Pit Bull Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Japanese Tosa and XL Bullies)
Dogs will not be permitted in the following areas as they are deemed unsuitable:
- The Dungeon Labyrinth
- Any rides or play areas
- Food and drink areas
- Grassed seating areas
Not all of the site is accessible due to the natural topology - some places are quite steep - but overall, yes, Watermouth Castle have designed a special route for wheelchair users. All pathways are tarmac, and a portion of the Castle and Gardens are accessible.
