Look no further: Walking Tours in Scotland are happy to provide you with a charming and knowledgeable local guide.
Unequivocally Edinburgh
Edinburgh is an unforgettable city. Its magnificent buildings are unmistakable, and within you’ll find fascinating history, unique culture and so much more.
Built near a volcano, the city has seen its fair share of disaster - look no further than all the infamous criminals and killers who have caused chaos in these cobbled streets.
Perhaps you’ve heard of Burke and Hare, the grisly killers who sold the bodies they “acquired” to a local doctor?
Yet this great city has also seen plenty of triumph. Just look at the legendary celebrations that are held here every year, like the Fringe Festival and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
To discover all this city has to offer on your own would be nearly impossible, which is why your guide will be invaluable.
For one and a half hours, they’ll tell you all about the stories and characters that built this city, taking you through the iconic old town.
The people of Edinburgh
Your guide will be well qualified to tell you all about the amazing locals.
The folks you’ll be introduced to came from many different walks of life - from kings and warriors to humble workers, you’ll hear about all sorts of fascinating characters, both world-famous and little known alike.
