Join a local guide on an amazing circular hiking route in the Waterfalls area of the Brecon Beacons National Park!

Meet your guide Andy, and see the six main waterfalls, along with smaller falls and cascades, and admire the scenic valleys and forest landscapes of the Brecon Beacons!

Eight Waterfalls Itinerary

• Meet your guide in a Cardiff city centre café, where you might choose to have breakfast. Then, it's off to Pontneddfechan to start the hike.
• You'll visit each waterfall and learn about the local area from Andy. The 15km hike gains 400m in height and often covers rough, muddy, and broken ground. Despite the effort, you'll be rewarded with amazing scenic views and wonderful memories of sparkling waterfalls!
• Immerse yourself in the landscape as you walk behind some of the waterfalls. You might even take an invigorating swim in the final pool to finish off the tour!
• Although the waterfalls area can be crowded, the path we take is usually quiet, especially midweek. We've been delivering walks here for over thirty years, sharing our knowledge of the area's industrial heritage and natural environments.
• From May to September, there's a café halfway round, but it's often closed due to weather, so bring a packed lunch and a flask of something warm.

• This tour takes place rain or shine.
• You will climb 400m, but it's a gentle ascent.
• Andy may bring his lovely dog!
• Most fitness levels can be accommodated, but please be sensible when booking and know your own ability.
• Please Note: A reasonable level of fitness is required. Clients who are considerably slower than average may be asked to head back to the start at a suitable and safe point to ensure everyone enjoys the day.
• Weather can change, and you may need to keep moving, especially in winter, to stay warm and safe.
