What else is on at The Great British Food Festival 2025?

The Great British Food Festival Lydiard Park is arriving in Swindon this summer for an incredible family festival full of food and fun

From the 2nd - 3rd of August 2025, Lydiard Park will be host to the Great British Food Festival!

Feast your eyes on a family day out that has something for everyone, from food, to live music, kids activities and even something for the dogs! There really are so many things to do in Swindon's big food festival.

Here's a sneak peak of some of the foodie fun going on at Lydiard Park this year:

  • Artisan Market: From chocolate to chutney and cheese to chili sauce, there's a huge selection of tasty treats that's bound to prove a terrific time for your tastebuds.
  • Street food: Whether its tacos, pastas, burgers, hot dogs or curries that you're looking for, you won't be disappointed tasting the festival's super street food. Every trader is rated a 5-Star hygiene rating!
  • Chef Demos: Chefs from all over will be giving cooking demonstrations on their favourite meals so you can learn the ways of becoming a master chef too!
  • BBQ Stage: Expect lots of smoke and tasty tips throughout the day as you become a barbie king or barbie queen with the exciting new BBQ stage program!
  • Food Challenges: It's man and woman vs food on the Challenge Stage! From dessert showdowns, to sausage eat-offs and the fiery chilli challenge, these foody contests are a must-see.
  • Cake Off: Over 800 cakes have been cut, tasted and deliberated, but only one can be the winner... Make sure not to miss the fiercely competitive Cake Off.
  • Foraging Walks: Embark on a guided walk around the site and forage for goodies with edible, medicinal and even cosmetic uses.
  • Kids Cookery: Little ones are in for a treat when they learn how to cook some new recipes. For 30-40 minutes, kids can cook up some Rocky Road Truffles or Peppermint & Orange Pebbles to take home.

But that's not all! Here's some other things to do at Great British Food Festival in Wiltshire this year:

  • Live Music: From 10am to 5pm, a wide range of musicians will be taking to the stage to provide the sounds to your food-tastic day.
  • Bars: Where there's great food, there also has to be great drinks! Find a selection of beers, lagers, ciders, ales, wines, whiskeys cocktails, gins and more.
  • Kids Activities: There's so many things to do for kids on their day out at the Great British Food Festival. Including a Party Workshops Family Circus, Treasure Hunt, Wacky Races, Bouncy Castle, Fairground Rides and a Mini Zoo!
  • Dog-friendly Fun: Dogs will love exploring the Great British Food Festival. No need to leave your dog back home, bring them along on a short lead and keep an eye out for the dog-friendly food stalls!

There's so much to get up to at the Great British Food Festival in Lydiard Park! So head on down to Swindon for the weekend for guaranteed smiles on faces and full bellies for the whole family.
