The Best of the Bridges
Cruise from Beaumaris Pier along the Menai Strait and explore the many wonders that the sea has to offer.
On your voyage, you'll head through Penryhn Port and Bangor Pier before you pass an impressive array of Victorian houses and hotels. At this point you'll come across the famous Menai Suspension Bridge, which was at the time of its construction in 1826, the biggest suspension bridge in the world.
Continue your navigation down the strait to Ynys Gorad Goch, or The Swellies, which are a series of whirlpools created by strong currents in the area. This is followed by the Britannia Bridge, so be sure to keep an eye out for the Britannia Lion statues that you can find on each side.
The final stretch of your journey will be making your way down to Plas Newydd, before you head back to Beaumaris Pier. All of this within just one hour is a great way to spend 60 minutes in exploring on one of the best boat trips you can find in all of North Wales!
