Book your tickets to a Puffin Island Powerboat Trip in Anglesey
Puffin Island really is the place to go for animal lovers in North Wales! After departing Beaumaris Pier, you'll navigate the waters until you reach the Penmon Point Lighthouse, where around the island you'll notice the caves where you'll be able to say hello to a seal from the colony that call the island home.
Keep an eye out overhead as a huge variety of birds are known to fly over your head. In fact, there are 14 different types of seabirds that are known to visit Puffin Island before the migration period. The main one of course being the puffin, these adorable little birds can often be seen with big scoops of fish in their mouth or are relaxing on the seas as they watch the boats speed on by.
Other birds to watch for include razorbills, kittiwakes, Black-backed gulls, terns, herring gulls and more! You'll also spot some rarer birds, like the Black Guillemot.
If you're lucky, you may even spot a friendly dolphin or porpoise swimming on by, so keep a close eye on the seas as well as the skies!
As you speed along in the powerboat, you'll have no shortage of options for photo snaps when you check out the amazing wildlife that live on Puffin Island.
