By car:
There is no parking close to the Cathedral, except for two disabled parking bays at the East side of the Cathedral, accessible by driving down the High Street from the crossroads at George IV Bridge. The closest parking is on King’s Stables Road (EH3 9DR) which is an 11-minute walk, taking in the Castle and the start of the Royal Mile.
By bus:
Being at the heart of Edinburgh, St Giles’ is easily accessible by bus. Stops on George IV Bridge are the closest, but North Bridge and South Bridge stops are a 3-minute walk away. Stops on Princes Street are slightly further and would require walking up hill.
By train:
The closest train stations is Edinburgh Waverly on Princes Street. Similarly to the bus, it is a 5-minute walk uphill to St Giles’.
By bike:
There is a bicycle locking area outside the High Court, just across from the Cathedral.
Please note that the organisers operate an unreserved seating policy within each separate band.
Seats within each band (AA, A, B & C) are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
