Meet William Thatcher, a peasant squire who poses as a knight to compete in tournaments. When Thatcher begins dominating competitions and winning accolades, he also gains friendships with historical figures such as Edward the Black Prince and Geoffrey Chaucer.
Written, co-produced and directed by Brian Helgeland and featuring a star-studded cast with Heath Ledger as protagonist William Thatcher, the cult-classic American medieval action comedy film is one of the best of it's time.
