How To Find Us
By Car:
Head south on the A24 from Belfast, following signs for Newcastle.
Continue on the A24 for about 20 miles.
Switch to the A50:
After passing through Ballynahinch, continue on the A24.
At Clough, take the first exit at the roundabout onto the A50 towards Castlewellan.
Arrive in Castlewellan:
Follow the A50 into Castlewellan.
Continue on the main road until you see signs for Castlewellan Forest Park.
Enter The Forest Park:
Follow the signs into Castlewellan Forest Park.
Once inside, follow the signs to The Grange Court Yard.
The drive takes about 50 minutes, depending on traffic.
By Bus:
From Belfast to Castlewellan:
Take the Translink Goldline Express bus 520 from Belfast Europa Buscentre to Newcastle.
This journey takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
From Newcastle to Castlewellan:
From Newcastle, take the Translink bus 34 or 34a to Castlewellan.
This leg of the journey takes about 15-20 minutes.
Walking to The Grange Court Yard:
Once you arrive at Castlewellan, it’s a short walk to Castlewellan Forest Park.
Follow the park signs to The Grange Court Yard.
Train from Belfast to Newry:
Take the train from Belfast Central or Belfast Great Victoria Street to Newry. The journey takes about 1 hour.

From Newry, take the Translink bus 240 to Castlewellan. This journey takes about 50 minutes.
