How To Find Us

By Car:

Go Ape Mallards Pike is clearly marked on Google Maps. Set your navigation before leaving as mobile signal is very limited in the Forest of Dean. You'll need to keep your eyes peeled but this is the best way of getting to Go Ape.

Directions: Take the A48 to Blakeney and follow the brown signs to Go Ape.  If you miss them, continue to follow Google Maps to "Go Ape Mallards Pike.

Parking is managed by Forestry England.

You should wear something that you don’t mind getting grubby. Dress for the weather so bring along a mac if it’s raining!

You need to make sure you have the correct footwear with closed toe and heel (with flat soles), no sandals or slip-off shoes.

Your stomach area will need to be covered and long hair must be tied back.

You can participate in the Forest Segways at Go Ape if you're: 

  • Maximum weight: 117kg
  • Minimum weight: 45kg

Please note: This activity requires one participating adult (18+) to supervise up to three children. 

Go Ape is an excellent wet weather activity! The course remains open in all weathers, except when it is icy, stormy, in high winds or during lightning. Rain makes the course muddier than usual – which all adds to the fun! Don’t forget to dress for the weather.

Sometimes, unfortunately, course may need to be closed for reasons beyond Go Ape's control, if this happens you will be given a full refund.
