"Christmas Alpaca Encounter: A Truly Unforgettable Festive Experience"
Embrace a truly unforgettable festive treat this Christmas!
Create cherished memories with family and friends through our Alpaca Meet and Greet encounters. Don your cozy winter attire and join us at our farm in Broseley, Shropshire, nestled within acres of pristine Shropshire countryside, for a delightful rendezvous with our endearing herd of alpacas.
During your visit, we'll introduce you to the herd, including this year's adorable alpaca babies. You'll have ample time to feed the alpacas, capture photographs, relax, and have your questions answered. Additionally, kids can revel in Christmas-themed crafts and activities inside our festive marquee.
Our approach ensures an intimate and personal alpaca experience, as our herd roams freely in the fields without confinement. We intentionally limit group sizes to ensure that the alpacas take center stage.
Please note that we provide alpaca feed at no extra cost.
Remember to dress warmly in waterproof attire and suitable footwear. Our experience is accessible to those in wheelchairs or with mobility concerns; kindly contact us in advance to arrange suitable accommodations for your visit.
Indulge in a truly unforgettable Christmas treat with our charming alpacas!
Open to all age groups.
- This is an all-weather attraction, there is a small marquee which offers some protection on rainy days, however don't forget to bring weather appropriate clothing and footwear!
- The tracks are not smoothly tarmacked and may be uneven or muddy.
- As a result, the walking experiences are unfortunately not accessible for wheelchair users or pushchairs.
- The Paca Picnic however, is suitable for a wider range of people.
- Alpacas are calm, reserved and friendly social creatures.
- However, they are still wild animals at heart and can sometimes be unpredictable.
- Prior to the experience, you will be briefed on health safety to further minimise the risks of accidents.
- If you have underlying health conditions then it is your responsibility to assess whether you are fit to undertake the experience.
Although alpacas are clean animals, we would strongly advise washing hands prior to eating food and leaving the site.
- Alpacas only tend to spit at other alpacas, usually an uninterested female towards a pushy male or both genders towards members of the herd that try to pinch their food.
- It is very unlikely that an alpaca will spit at a human unprovoked!
