Cogges Manor Farm is a unique heritage farmstead with 1000 years of history, 17-acres of naturally-breathtaking grounds, enchanting gardens, picnic orchard and moated island by the river Windrushs; and for fans of Downtown Abbey, Cogges is the home of Yew Tree Farm and Mr Drewe!
- Get up-close to and enjoy the beautiful 13th-Century Manor House & Grade II-listed 18th-Century farm buildings
- Animals: Meet the resident characters of Cogges; from mischievous goats that are all named after Downtown Abbey characters, famous Cotswold sheep from the heart of Witney's woollen trade town, playful pigs that love public interaction and free-roaming heritage ducks, chickens and turkeys! Find them snoozing in their beds or front-and-centre in the animal pens.
- Manor House: Experience 1000 years of history as you step inside the 19th-Century gothic porch! Each room depicts a specific time in the history of Cogges tracing its past through its inhabitants.
- Yew Tree Farm: Lending itself as the perfect filming location for TV, Downtown Abbey fans will be delighted to discover the home of the Drewe family, where Lady Edith's child is brought up, later becoming home to Mr Mason.
- Gardens, Grounds & Trails: Enjoy some fresh air and explore 17-acres of grounds and trails as you discover the Walled Garden, which produces vegetables, herbs and fruit, including Espalier apple and quince trees.
- Adventure Play: Younger explorers can have fun climbing the adventure play fort, built where the original house once stood. Featuring a zip wire and multiple purpose-built obstacles and outdoor play equipment to treat the little ones to a wild time.
- Cogges Kitchen Café: Located in the old milking parlour, the Kitchen Cafe is a beautifully rustic eatery, providing breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, cake and so much more. Open daily from 9am, no farm ticket required. Please check 'More Info' below for a brief menu.

- Parking: There is a free car park located at OX28 3FR.
- Bus: There are good bus services to Witney from all directions, including Oxford, Eynsham, Chipping Norton, Cheltenham, Burford and Abingdon.
- Train: The closest train station is Hanborough Railway Station. Charlbury and Shipton-Under-Wynchwood are also a short bus/taxi ride away.
- Foot: Cogges is no more than a 10-minute walk from Witney town centre and features lovely views of the River Windrush, lake and meadows.

With it's rural destination and nature of the site, Cogges may present some challenges for wheelchair users, however they are committed to providing an inclusive visitor attraction as much as possible.#
- Parking: There is accessible parking for Blue Badge parking.
- Toilets: Toilet facilities and baby-changing facilities are available onsite.
- Cafe & Gift Shop: The cafe and gift shop are wheelchair and pushchair accessible.
- Manor House: The ground floor is accessible. Routes and doorways are narrow, so ramps are short and steep and may require a narrow wheelchair. There is a folding wheelchair available upon request, subject to availability.
- The first floor is not accessible due to historical stairs. There is a film showing the upper floors on a television in the stable, and this can be displayed in the Living Room on the ground floor.
Assistance dogs are permitted on all parts of the site.
- Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times.
- There are ducks and poultry free-roaming onsite, please be aware of this.
- Please be respectful of other visitors.
Yes! Cogges Manor Farm is home to Cogges Kitchen Cafe.
- Open 7 days a week.
- Open 9:30am - 4:30pm. Last orders are half an hour before the cafe closes.
- Food: Enjoy Cogges' cream tea, cakes, bakes, fresh pastries, homemade granola, breakfast rolls, sausage rolls, pasties, fresh sandwiches, toasties, salads, soups, quiche and ice-cream.
- Drinks: Summer smoothies, ice-coffeees, tea, coffee, milkshakes, wine, fizz, craft beer and more.
