  • Important: Please arrive 30 minutes before your booking start time.
  • This is a physically demanding activity and requires a certain level of fitness in order to take part and enjoy the experience.
  • Although it is not mandatory to have previous sea kayaking experience, the team do ask that all paddlers have the physical fitness and confidence necessary to participate on a 3hr paddle.
  • Postcode - CT2 OBW. Free public parking is available on the main Fordwich Road or the side road; Marlow Meadows, please park responsibly.

How To Find Us

Meeting Point: CT2 OBW. Please note: The postcode will take you to Marlow Meadows. From there, you will need to head to the beginning of the red arrows by walking along the main Fordwich road. Located there will be a town boundary sign and a Canoe Wild sign. Follow the arrows down the dirt track and you'll be greeted by a member of staff.

Canoe Wild's opening hours are as follows:

  • March to November: 9am to 6pm
  • Open 7 days a week

No, there are not any age restrictions on Canoe Wild's activities.

  • All ages are welcome, including toddlers and babies. 
  • Children have to be 12 years old to paddle in/on a single kayak or paddleboard. 
  • An adult must be supervising from another craft in the water. 

Yes! The Fordwich and Grove Ferry sites are a short walk from local pubs. 

Yes, Canoe Wild are extremely dog-friendly. 

  • Canoe Wild recommend that your dog joins you in the canoe. 
  • They request that you do not tie your dog to yourself. 
  • Please ensure your dog is medium-sized.
