Byres Farm is primarily wheelchair-accessible, but please bare in mind that the ground can get quite muddy during the rainy seasons.
However, the team have tried their best to have solid surfaces around the venue.
Byres Farm is suitable for all ages! With activities for children and experiences for adults, it's a great day out in Inverness for anyone between the ages of 1 - 100.
Dogs are more than welcome to join the circular walks, but must be kept on a lead and cleaned up after.
Dogs are not allowed within the play areas or animal paddocks.
There is a self-service coffee shop onsite which provides drinks and light bites/snacks, but not meals.
However, you are invited and encouraged to bring your own picnic for lunch!
Animals at Byres Farm have feeding tubes in order to keep visitors safe. These animals are unable to be fed by visitors.
However, you are allowed to hand feed the goats and sheep, but the team would like to ensure that you wash your hands thoroughly after contact with them. There are multiple hand wash stations located onsite.
