West Walk
With 350 hectares to explore, the whole family will find something they’ve fallen in love with at West Walk, also known as Hundred Acre Woods.
Stroll through the peaceful woodland
Choose between two gorgeous walks to explore.
The Forest of Bere trail is ideal if it's your first trip to this magnificent woodland. Set off from the car park on the three-mile loop and be greeted by curious wildlife, welcoming you to their home.
Soak it all up and enjoy the peaceful escape to this calming oasis, where the silence is only broken by the birds singing to you and the leaves crunching beneath your feet.
Up for something more challenging?
Walk or cycle the Millenium Trail, just under four miles long. Feel the breeze on your face as you explore on two wheels or enjoy the woods at a slower pace and appreciate each detail.
Start your walk from the Meon Valley railway line and follow the route through nearby mesmerising forests.
As you pass through Upperford Copse, you may be lucky enough to see the ground carpeted with bluebells. Or discover Woodend, the perfect place to get lost in your own thoughts as you tick off three forests in one walk.
Feeling peckish?
All this excitement will have got your tummy rumbling. Head to the mobile café for a delicious takeaway drink and snack.
Bring a picnic along if you’d prefer and keep your eye out for the perfect spot to tuck into those yummy homemade sandwiches as you enjoy great company.
You’ll be so glad you chose a trip here for today’s walk and will undoubtedly be eager to start planning your return, which won’t be too far away.
