Yes, the majority of the exhibits are accessible for wheelchair users, including the gift shop and cafe, however, a small number of exhibit buildings are inaccessible due to the historic nature of their design.
There is no time limit for your visit, but we recommend allowing 2 - 3 hours to explore everything the museum has to offer!
Dogs are not allowed on site due to the historic nature of the museum. The only exception is assistance dogs.
Assistance dogs are specifically trained and required to provide a service to their owner/user. This includes:
- Guide dogs that assist visitors with visual impairments.
- Hearing dogs or signal dogs that help visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing.
