Take on the Tower Beast Ride with the Thames RIB Experience in London
Are you a match for the Beast? Find out on this roar-some 40-minute high speed ride to and from Tower Pier on the biggest speedboat on the Thames including giant scary high speed turns down to Greenwich, around the O2 Arena and through the Thames Flood Barrier.
Prick your ears for the odd rumbling growl as you step into the belly of the Beast and see the smoke before he roars away on your Tower Beast Ride.
Commentary is minimal as the focus of this trip is the exhilaration you’ll feel at being blasted down the river on this jet-powered juggernaut propelled by two Mega Monster Rolls Royce Jets.

How to find us
Tower Beast trips depart from and to the Tower Millennium Pier.
It is asked that you leave plenty of time for your journey and check for any road closures or train delays ahead of time. Missed trips cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
Pregnant passengers and anyone suffering from any medical heart or back problems unfortunately cannot travel.
Though you may experience a bit of spray from the high speed manouveres, water does not remain on board the RIB. Providing that the weather is good, you are unlikely to get wet at all.
The Thames RIB Experience will travel in all weather and disposable ponchos are provided to keep you as dry as possible.
All personal belongings must be taken on board with you and nothing can be left at the Pier locations.
All Thames RIB vessels travel at 35 Knots.
There is a minimum weight restriction of 15kg (Approx. 2st 4lb). There is no maximum age or weight and life vests are designed to fit all sizes.
Health and safety regulations states that disabled passengers are able to travel providing they are travelling with a carer and are able to step into the vessel unaided or with the support of their carer.
Wheelchairs and pushchairs can be left at the owners risk on the pier where boarding takes place.
