Explore the Aqueduct on the Llangollen Canal All ages welcome!

The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is a navigable aqueduct that carries the Llangollen Canal across the River Dee in the Vale of Llangollen in northeast Wales. - Part of the UNESCO world heritage site, it is 38.4m (126ft) high over the river dee, and 306.9m (10007ft) long.

We think there is no better no better way to experience it than by canoe.

We start off all of our canoe trips with a safety briefing, time to get used to your canoe and the paddle strokes you’ll be using on our journey. Heading over the aqueduct, you’ll have plenty of time to take in the views and take photos of your group. After exploring more of the llangollen canal, we’ll head back over the aqueduct for your return crossing. 

Each trip is led by our qualified instructors whose on hand to answer any questions you might have along the way.
