Where your journey begins

Starting out from Windermere, The High Adventure tour takes all the hassle out of planning and provides you with everything you need for a remarkable day out in the National Park.

Over the course of a day, you’ll get to pass by the Hardknott Roman Fort and ride on the Ravenglass and Eskdale narrow gauge railway, before popping over to Munster Castle to get exploring.

With your itinerary sorted and travel arranged, you can spare all your attention to gazing at where you are and the sights on offer.

You’ll have a local guide keeping you company on the tour, leading the way through some of the area’s dramatic and famous mountain passes.

A little treat

Everywhere you look, you’re surrounded by some of the most impressive and striking views anywhere in the whole country.

All you need to bring along is some food. But, time permitting, there’ll also be a chance to stop off on the journey and treat yourself to a cream tea.
