During your visit, the Grinch will grudgingly welcome you into his Grotto, where you'll enjoy:

  • Brand new for 2024: Step inside the Enchanted Elevator and travel to Mr. Grinch’s Grotto in style! 
  • Story time: Hear Christmas tales of the past
  • Capture a memorable photo: Don't miss this opportunity to show all your friends at school who you met!
  • And receive a special gift from The Grinch's own personal stash!
  • You might even have the chance to bring the Grinch a present—he has a soft spot for onions, so if you want to see his kinder side, the staff at Grand Pier suggest bringing one along!

Details of your Grinch Grotto visit:

  • One child ticket includes one supervising adult
  • Your ticket also gives you free entry to The Grand Pier!
  • All children will receive a gift to take home. 
  • Each session will have a maximum of 10 adults/children and will last around 10 minutes.
  • The grotto is suitable for children aged 18 months to 10 years, but it can be fun for everyone!
  • The grotto is located on the first floor of Grand Pier next to the Adventure Cove Soft Café.

How To Find Us

By Train:

The Grand Pier is just a 7-minute walk from the Weston-super-Mare train station. When you hop off the train, simply walk west towards the town and seafront

The Grand Pier is accessible for wheelchair users and can cater for anyone with other specific access requirements. 

The Grand Pier is based on two floors with lift and escalator access to both floors. Most of the restaurants and cafes are all situated on the ground floor with step free access, however please note the Adventure Café Soft Play Café is on the 2nd level.

Noise-reducing headphones and tinted glasses can be obtained from the Grand Café till on the ground floor of the pavilion, as well as the Gift Shop till located on the 1st floor. 

These provide individuals with sensory sensitivities the ability to customise their environment and minimise potential stress triggers. A small deposit of £5 is required, and customers may keep hold of the items for the duration of one day.

Yes! Parking is available right opposite the Grand Pier in the Sovereign Centre car park.
