Take some time to unwind unplug and reconnect with yourself at this unique retreat in Cornwall, where you'll enjoy a weekend of energising surfing and restorative woodland yoga.
Whether it's your first time in the surf or you're just looking to hone your skills, this weekend will be a blast with surfing experts ready to share their knowledge in a relaxed environment.
After you've caught some waves, you'll be able to unwind and re-energise with a woodland yoga session. After a warm welcome and introductions, you'll jump straight into your wetsuit and head for the beach with your surfboard in hand. You'll learn the basics of surf safety, how to manage your surfboard and how to ride back to the shore. If this is your first surf lesson, you'll gain enough knowledge to feel confident surfing safely in the future.
Once you've finished the lesson, you'll have time to get some essentials from the local supermarket before heading to the woodland wild camp. There, you'll enjoy a yoga session. This unique woodland location is the perfect tranquil setting for stretching those surfed out arms and shoulders. It doesn't matter if you're an experienced yogi or just a beginner, this session is designed for all skill levels and you'll have a yoga instructor to guide your body and mind.
Suitably relaxed and energised, you'll be ready for an evening of barbequing, axe throwing and games before cosying up in your bell tent. You can take it easy in the morning, hanging out in the hammocks and enjoying a stroll in nature before heading to the barn for your yoga session that focuses on awakening your body and recharging your muscles. After you're suitably stretched out, you'll head back to Newquay for the final surf of the weekend!
