It's Julie's 18th birthday, and she's throwing a celebratory party in her father's extremely extravagant townhouse...

But her boyfriend has just dumped her, and now her long-suffering best friend Christine is left to pick up the pieces. 

As the partygoers pile into the booze and dance into the night, down in the kitchen, Christine and her boyfriend Jon (the son of Julie's cleaner) clean up, daring to dream of the future.
