Ride with the girls
To boost female participation in MTB-ing Ride in Peace Adventures offer female-only sessions. These cover the same Go MTB skills as our mixed sessions.
These female lead and coached sessions for developing mountain bike techniques whilst having fun with like-minded girls.
These sessions will run as a series, building skills throughout the four-week block.
Session 1: Body position and movements
Session 2: Braking and introduction to cornering
Session 3: Cornering and riding obstacles
Session 4: Consolidation of techniques and finding flow
Go MTB is a mountain bike achievement award by Cycling Scotland that enables you to advance your technical riding skills as well as learning how to look after yourself, your bike, the environment and other people, with four themes to the Award and five levels of achievement.
The Little RIPA camp sessions are aimed at kids wanting to take their cycling skills from schools BikeAbility Award to develop into GO MTB riding techniques.
Good to know
The age requirement is 7-12 year olds.
These sessions will run on a Sunday morning for ages 7-9 years old, for 2 hrs (9 - 11am) for 4 consecutive weeks.
These sessions will run on a Sunday afternoon for ages 10-12 years old, for 2 hrs (12 - 2pm) for 4 consecutive weeks.

Be prepared!
If you'd like to experience this to the fullest, please gear up appropriately: suitable bike, helmet, full finger gloves, a small rucksack with water, food, and waterproofs.
