What can I do with OA Surf Club?
- Coasteering Sessions: Looking for an adventure like no other while on holiday in Bude? The OA Coasteering is an incredible activity that combines swimming, scrambling and jumping off rocks into the sea. Explore and see the coastline from a different perspective. Swim through natural arches and into sea caves, traverse across barnacle covered ledges and jump into the crystal clear Cornish sea to swim across inlets and discover hidden beaches.
- Surf lessons: OA Surf Club operates their surf lessons from Widemouth Bay, close to Bude, the long sandy beach is an amazing location whether you're a beginner or a pro! Whether joining the OA team alone, in a family or with a group of friends, their friendly and experienced team are fun, enthusiastic and are dedicated in giving you the best experience in the water!

From Bude: 2-Hour Coasteering Session

How To Find Us
By Car:
Leave the M5 at Junction 27 and follow the road past Barnstaple, Bideford, and straight into Bude on the Atlantic Highway. Alternatively, you can spend longer on the M5 and leave the motorway at Exeter.
By Train:
Take the train from London, Paddington to Exeter, St Davids, and then switch to the Great Western Railway to arrive in Bude. The journey takes about 3 hours and 20 minutes.
By Coach & Bus:
The nearest National Express stop to Bude is Exeter. From there, catch the 6 or 6A bus for a journey of around two hours to Bude.
- Equipment provided
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your activity is due to begin.
- For Surf lessons, meet at Widemouth Bay car park.
- For coasteering, meet at Bossiney Bay car park
All the specialist equipment you need is provided, just bring your swimwear, a towel, and some closed toe footwear to wear in the sea, and they'll take care of the rest.
Wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets, and any other necessary equipment to ensure that you're fully equipped for your adventure are provided. With safety as the top priority, you can rest assured that you are in good hands with the team's knowledge.
