The iconic supernatural horror film directed by William Friedkin returns to the big screen this year at Newcastle Castle. Starring Ellen Burstyn, Max von Sydow, Jason Miller and Linda Blair, the original The Exorcist blockbuster follows the story of a young girl possessed by a demonic entity. As her mother attempts to rescue her through an exorcism by two Catholic priests, they discover the perils of the supernatural world.
