Krampus in Newcastle Castle's Christmas Cinema

Based on the eponymous character from Austro-Bavarian folklore, Krampus is a 2015 Christmas comedy horror movie that turns the happiest day of the year into a nightmare...

A dysfunctional family squabbling causes a young boy to lose his festive spirit.

In doing so, he unleashes the wrath of Krampus - a fearsome, horned, demonic mythic beast from an ancient European folklore tale, who punishes naughty children during the festive season... but what if Krampus isn't a myth?

As Krampus storms the neighbourhood and lays siege to the residents, the chaotic family must band together this Christmas to save each other from a truly monstrous fate.
