  • These historic monuments rise majestically in the estuary, located approximately 9 miles from Southend and 5 miles from Whitstable
  • Your journey there will take around 2.5 hours, during which you'll pass by numerous island forts that have guarded the Medway Estuary since the 1860s
  • The vessel is perfectly sized to navigate between and under these fascinating structures, offering you ample opportunities to capture stunning photos. While boarding the towers is not permitted, you'll have plenty of chances to snap incredible shots from unique angles
  • For avid photographers, don't forget to bring your long lenses to capture the elusive Peregrine Falcons that call this area home
  • On the return trip, you'll circle around the SS Richard Montgomery (outside the exclusion zone) before heading back up the Medway to Rochester

  • Limehouse Wharf will be on your right.

By Train:

  • Take a train to Rochester railway station.
  • Exit the station and head southeast on Corporation Street/A2.
  • Turn left onto Blue Boar Lane.
  • Continue straight onto Rochester Riverside Walk.
  • Limehouse Wharf is a short walk from the station.

By Bus:

  • Take a bus to Rochester Bus Station.
  • Head southeast on Corporation Street/A2.
