Hoo Zoo is a family run zoo nestling in 32 acres of woodland and paddocks in the heart of rural Shropshire. The farm itself is possibly 200 years old and over the years has been a dairy farm, Christmas tree nursery an award winning farm attraction, but most of all it has been a happy home to the Dorrell family since 1988.

Unfortunately, only guide dogs are allowed on the Hoo Zoo premises.
Yes! Hoo Zoo welcomes any adults or children with disabilities. All disabled visitors come in at the usual rate, carers are free with a carers ID.
Hoo Zoo is relatively flat with no large undulations or slopes but the pathways are gravel and can be difficult for some wheelchair users.
Hoo Zoo have limited disabled car parking so they advise arriving early to avoid disappointment.
Disabled toilets are available in the main toilet block.
