Since its opening in 1979, Heaven built a reputation that rivals New York's Studio 54 and it has established itself at the centre of what was once an understated queer London club scene.

After it was bought by Branson’s Virgin group in the early 90s its reputation in the gay clubbing community has continued to grow until it became a true challenger to more mainstream clubs in central London. Now building a new reputation as a live music venue, Heaven continues to reinvent itself as an adaptable and atmospheric space for a multitude of audiences.
