Great Wedlock Farm & Deer Park is a stunning family-owned and run eco-friendly deer park based near the beautiful seaside holiday destination of Tenby.

What to expect:

  • The Park has 150 acres of grassland, gorseland and woodland dedicated to their deer whilst a further 26 acres is kept as a nature reserve around the river Ritec.
  • Walk the beautiful 2 mile country walk around the periphery of the park.
  • Spot Foxes, Badgers, Hedgehogs, Rabbits, Field Mice and Squirrels!
  • Spot lots of beautiful deer, as the deer reproduce naturally, they usually have somewhere between 170 and 200 deer in the park at any one time!
  • The park is filled with amazing and diverse habitats, an ideal environment for the local wildlife and all of the parks' animals to thrive.
  • Finish off your adventure by grabbing some snacks and ice cream served alongside hot and cold drinks in Bambi’s coffee shop!

How To Find Us

By Car:

From Tenby (5 Minutes)

To get to Great Wedlock Farm and Deer Park from central Tenby, you just need to head west on Heywood Ln/B4318. Stay on this road for around 2 miles and you will see the deer park signposted on the left.

From Haverfordwest (30 minutes)

At Scotchwell Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Narberth Rd/A40. Follow A40 until the Canaston Bridge Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A4075.

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on A4075 for 7 miles. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A477, continue on for 0.8 miles and at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto B4318. Continue for 2.5 miles and you will see the deer park signposted on the right.

For guests using a wheelchair, they have an easy-access wheelchair trailer which is towed behind a buggy driven by one of the expert guides.

In addition to the wheelchair, the trailer seats an additional 2 passengers, accommodating a total of 3 passengers.

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed due to the nature of the deer being very protective especially around their young , (guide dogs are permitted but not inside the deer park.)

Yes! They have free on site parking.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food which can be eaten on any of the many outside bench seats that are located in several different areas around the farm.
