- Treetop Challenge: Adults and older kids can put their outdoor skills to the test in this epic course. Suitable for anyone over 1.4m tall and aged at least 10 years old.
- Treetop Adventure: This course is perfect for young adventurers making their first steps into high ropes adventures. Suitable for anyone over 1m tall and aged between 4-6 years old.
- Treetop Adventure Plus: For younger visitors who are more confident in their high ropes skills in a slightly bigger course. Suitable for anyone over 1.2m tall and aged between 6-10 years old.
- Axe Throwing: Relieve some stress in a fun-packed hour of axe-throwing. Suitable for anyone over 16 years old.
Things to do in Itchen Valley Country Park:
Go Ape Southampton is located in the Itchen Valley Country Park. Consisting of 440 acres of water meadows and woodland, the beautiful Itchen Valley Country Park has been recognised by the award of a Green Flag for the past four years.
Situated beside the River Itchen, the park is a hub for outdoor activities in Southampton, meaning there's lots to keep the family entertained. There are several trails to explore, including the Keepers Trail, Nature Detective Trail and Tree Trails. There's play areas and an animal sculpture trail for children to explore. For the more adventurous, there are two permanent orienteering courses to discover.
Be sure to stop at the onsite café that serves hot and cold food & drink, or you can bring a picnic so you can sit back and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in peace.

By car:

- From the West: Exit the M27 at junction 5 and take the 2nd exit on roundabout, signposted Eastleigh A335, then follow brown tourist signs to Itchen Valley Country Park.
- From the North: Follow the M3, joining the M27 Eastbound towards Portsmouth. Exit the M27 at junction 5 and take the 2nd exit on the roundabout, then follow the brown tourist signs to Itchen Valley Country Park.
- From the East: Exit the M27 at junction 7. From junction 7, take the first exit, signposted Southampton A334, then the 3rd exit at the next roundabout, signposted West End A27, and follow brown tourist signs to Itchen Valley Country Park.
- From Southampton: Head towards Southampton Airport. Join the A27 and follow brown tourist signs to Itchen Valley Country Park.
- From Eastleigh: Take the A355 to Southampton airport. Follow brown tourist signs to Itchen Valley Country Park, past the airport onto A27.
You'll find Go Ape in the furthest car park, tucked away in the corner!
By train:
Southampton Airport parkway is the nearest train station, next to the airport. From here you can catch the Xelabus-X4 Towards West End.
Disembark the bus just after passing Haskins Garden Centre. From here it’s just under a mile walk (about 20 minutes). Continue along the road until you reach the roundabout. Turn left and follow the road until you reach the entrance to the park.
It is possible to walk all the way from the station to the park. It’s approximately three miles and takes about an hour.
A taxi should cost less than £10.
By bus:
The nearest bus stop to Go Ape Itchen Valley is about a 20-minute walk away (less than a mile). If you enter the postcode SO30 3HQ into Google Maps and select directions via public transport, you'll find details of the next available bus service.
By bike:
There are cycle storage facilities at Go Ape. There are also local cycle routes available to Go Ape Southampton.

Footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip off shoes, open toes or heels.
Wear sensible clothes for adventure and please ensure your midriff is covered.
Gloves are a good idea. Either bring a pair or you can buy them at the cabin on the day.
Go Ape is an excellent wet weather activity! The course remains open in all weathers, except when it is icy, stormy, in high winds or during lightning.
Rain makes the course muddier than usual – which all adds to the fun! Don’t forget to dress for the weather. Sometimes, unfortunately, Go Ape might need to close the course for reasons beyond our control, if this happens you will be given a full refund.
Please ensure you arrive for your Go Ape activity 15 minutes before your session begins.

All courses are designed to be accessible, but they do offer a degree of physical and mental challenge. This may mean additional equipment or adjustments to supervision.
