By Car:

The address for Go Ape Sherwood Pines is Sherwood Pines, Edwinstowe, Mansfield NG21 9JH1.
If you’re driving, you can find it just off the B6030 east of Kings Clipstone.
The forest is approximately 20 miles from Nottingham, making it easily accessible by car.

By Train:

The nearest train station to Sherwood Pines is Mansfield, which is approximately 7 miles away.
From Mansfield, you can take a taxi or use local bus services to reach Sherwood Pines.

By Bus:

There are local bus services that connect nearby towns and cities to Sherwood Pines.

You should wear something that you don’t mind getting grubby. Dress for the weather so bring along a mac if it’s raining!

You need to make sure you have the correct footwear with closed toe and heel (with flat soles), no sandals or slip-off shoes.

Your stomach area will need to be covered and long hair must be tied back.

You can join the Nets Adventure at Go Ape if you're:

  • Minimum age: One year old
  • Maximum weight: 130kg

Please note: Adults must supervise or participate with all children in the Nets Adventure.

  • Under 6: One participating adult can supervise two children aged six and under.
  • 6-15 Years Old: One adult can supervise up to five children aged 6-15 years while on the course or on the ground. 

Go Ape is an excellent wet weather activity! The course remains open in all weathers, except when it is icy, stormy, in high winds or during lightning. Rain makes the course muddier than usual – which all adds to the fun! Don’t forget to dress for the weather.

Sometimes, unfortunately, a course may need to be closed for reasons beyond Go Ape's control, if this happens you will be given a full refund.
