Go Ape is nestled in the beautiful Tilgate Park, just a few minutes from the town centre and a mere 40-minute drive from Brighton.
Challenge yourself to an unforgettable high ropes adventure:
- Treetop Challenge: Clamber up rope ladders into the tree tops and journey through the canopy on platforms connected by a variety of tricky crossings. Each site ends in a zip wire to bring you back to the ground! Suitable for anyone over 1.4m tall and aged at least 10 years old.
- Treetop Adventure: An hour of fun crossings and awesome zip wires await you on this magical Treetop Adventure! This course is a whole new way to get the family outdoors and build confidence while having fun. Suitable for anyone over 1m tall and aged between 4-10 years old.
Things to do in Tilgate Park:
Have a breather and refuel in the Walled Garden café, before heading out to explore the heritage parkland and Nature Centre.
You’ll find beautiful lawns, lakes, heather gardens and a Peace Garden. Go and say hello to the animals in the Nature Centre which is home to mongoose, meerkats, reindeers and otters, to name but a few.
A large children’s play area overlooks the lake and you can hire family boats (rowing boats, canoes and double sit on top kayaks) or single boats (stand up paddle boards and sit on top kayaks) if you’d like to get out and about on the lake.

How To Find Us
By Car:
From M23/A23, take Pease Pottage exit and follow signs towards Crawley and turn onto Tilgate Drive at the entrance of the K2 Leisure Centre. Alternatively, follow brown tourist signs to Tilgate Park (which also direct visitors entering Crawley from other directions).
Please ensure you get to the Go Ape cabin on time. Allow some extra time, it gets busy in the car park.
Charges apply 09.00 - 18.00 1st April to 31st October, and 09:00 - 16:00 1st November to 31st March, on any day including Sundays & Bank Holidays.

Upto 3 hours - £3.60
Upto 4 hours - £4.80

Footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip off shoes, open toes or heels.
Wear sensible clothes for adventure and please ensure your midriff is covered.
Gloves are a good idea. Either bring a pair or you can buy them at the cabin on the day.
Go Ape is an excellent wet weather activity! The course remains open in all weathers, except when it is icy, stormy, in high winds or during lightning.
Rain makes the course muddier than usual – which all adds to the fun! Don’t forget to dress for the weather. Sometimes, unfortunately, Go Ape might need to close the course for reasons beyond our control, if this happens you will be given a full refund.
Please ensure you arrive for your Go Ape activity 15 minutes before your session begins.

All courses are designed to be accessible, but they do offer a degree of physical and mental challenge. This may mean additional equipment or adjustments to supervision.
