- Zip Line Experience: Experience two of the longest zips in the UK! Fly over trees and waterfalls with unrivalled views of Scottish hills, valleys and the Highlands. Suitable for anyone over 1.4m tall and aged at least 10 years old.

After a fun-filled adventure at Go Ape Aberfoyle, immerse yourself in the unprecedented views of the impressive surroundings.
With Ben A'an on the horizon, climb the great wee hill and experience fine views of the Highlands. This route is suitable for all ages, including climbers as young as three years old!
There is also miles and miles of forest trails starting from Go Ape's Visitor Centre. After finishing your chosen activity, follow the trail on foot or grab a bicycle from the Bike Hire and find the Red Squirrels - and if you're lucky, some Pine Martins.
There's also a natural play area for kids, along the Waterfall Trail, which starts at the Visitor Centre. Let your little ones run wild in the immersive and interactive play park!

Treetop Challenge - Go Ape Aberfoyle

How to find us
Address: Go Ape Aberfoyle, The Lodge - Forest Visitor Centre, Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, Aberfoyle, Stirling. FK8 3SX
By car:
Take the A81 to Aberfoyle, at the roundabout, head towards Aberfoyle and then follow the signs for Callander A821 (A84) with brown signage for Forest Park Visitor Centre.
Head up the hill and follow the Brown signs for Go Ape into The Lodge Visitor Centre car park.
Then follow footpath signage to the Go Ape Cabin. Due to the rural nature of our locations, postcodes are not always accurate when using satellite navigation.
- Parking: Forestry Scotland manages the car park, costing £5 for cars and £14 for coaches.

By Train:
The nearest train station is located at Stirling which is a 30 minute drive to Go Ape Aberfoyle.
First ScotRail operates a service from Glasgow Queen Street to Stirling.

Footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip off shoes, open toes or heels.
Wear sensible clothes for adventure and please ensure your midriff is covered.
Gloves are a good idea. Either bring a pair or you can buy them at the cabin on the day.
Go Ape is an excellent wet weather activity! The course remains open in all weathers, except when it is icy, stormy, in high winds or during lightning.
Rain makes the course muddier than usual – which all adds to the fun! Don’t forget to dress for the weather. Sometimes, unfortunately, Go Ape might need to close the course for reasons beyond our control, if this happens you will be given a full refund.
Please ensure you arrive for your Go Ape activity 15 minutes before your session begins.
Go Ape take pride in sharing their activities with as many people as possible.
All courses are designed to be accessible, but they do offer a degree of physical and mental challenge. This may mean additional equipment or adjustments to supervision.
