The quickest and easiest way to the tour from Manchester City Centre and surrounding areas is by tram. Be sure to stop at the Imperial War Museum Tram Stop and you’ll see the entrance on the left. Look out for the The Coronation Street Experience Flag and Signage.
By bus:
MediaCity is well served by local bus and tram routes from Manchester and the surrounding areas. The nearest bus stop is 5 minutes away at Imperial War Museum served by Stagecoach route X50 from the City Centre.
Make your way to the ITV Studios building next to the Imperial War Museum. The entrance is behind this building.
By car:
Situated in Salford, Manchester, MediaCityUK is well signposted. Use postcode M17 1FZ. The nearest car park is The Imperial War Museum Car Park. Please be aware NCP charges apply.
From the car park, follow the signage and flags for The Coronation Street Experience Entrance, the site is just next door!

The Coronation Street Experience is located on a live working set, as such filming schedules dictate opening hours.
The tour is open most weekends (subject to availability and filming plans).
Any guests who use a wheelchair must be capable of travelling throughout the length of the Tour, some parts of which will be on uneven terrain. Manual wheelchair users are likely to need to bring a personal assistant with them.
Self-propelled wheelchair users even with assistance are likely to struggle on some of the floor surfaces and as a result, may experience difficulty on some areas of the Tour.
Guests who use an electric wheelchair or mobility scooter would need to be capable of passing through a standard door opening.
The Coronation Street Tour lasts for 90 minutes. We recommend arriving a little earlier to ensure you’re ready to begin your journey through the iconic street right on time.
