The largest of its kind in Essex, Cliffs Pavilion is a purpose-built performing arts venue located in Southend-on-Sea, England.
With more than 1,630 seats, it offers a fine mixture of exciting variety acts, with over 300 performances every year.

The theatre’s success
The Cliffs Pavilion has hosted numerous big names throughout its existence. More recently, personalities such as Robbie Williams, Russell Brand, Gary Barlow, Michael McIntyre, Nigel Kennedy, Dawn French, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra have appeared here.
Also, shows like The Bodyguard, Jersey Boys, Legally Blonde, and Starlight Express have thrilled the audiences in this auditorium.
The building’s restaurant remains open every day. It serves freshly made sandwiches, baguettes, cakes and pastries, teas and coffees in the Foyer Bar overlooking Thames Estuary. You can enjoy the specially created menus for classy pre-show dining experience before every evening show.
