• Lower Slaughter idyllic village, used for the filming of Jane Austen's "Emma" -15mins drive | 30mins viewing

• Stow-on-the-Wold's Market square with the old stocks -15mins drive | 45mins viewing

• Burford, the gateway to the Cotswolds with the River Windrush and a great place for afternoon tea 15mins drive | 60mins food

• Bibury, which offers a classic view of the Arlington Row and is a great photo opportunity 20min drive | 15 mins view

• Castle Combe, a visitor favourite because of its Norman Church, Manor house, film locations and more - 45mins drive | 45 mins viewing 

Once you've done enough exploring for the day you'll hop back in your private car for a 20 minute return drive to Bath.
