Founded by volunteers in 1976 and opened to the public in 1981, Chiltern Open Air Museum is a charity that rescues historic buildings that are under threat of being demolished. Alongside rebuilding and preserving the buildings, Chiltern Museum ensures their safety on a traditional Chilterns landscape.
Having successfully re-erected 37 buildings to date, Chiltern Museum offers visitors a captivating journey through time whilst providing a beautiful, countryside escape just outside of London.

Terrific Tuesdays:

Medieval Festival:

- Spend Easter in Buckinghamshire this year and journey back to the 14th Century with the Plantagenet Medieval Society at Chiltern Open Air Museum!
