About Bloomsbury Theatre

Opened in 1968, the Bloomsbury Theatre has worked close with the University College London in producing top talent in the entertainment industry. Perhaps one of the most famous alumni is comedian Ricky Gervais, who graduated from UCL and has since hosted a number of his stand-up performances in Bloomsbury.

Renowned household names such as Adele, Gregory Porter and Jo Brand have entertained audiences at the Bloomsbury Theatre and it remains as ever as prominent in attracting the biggest names and the hottest rising stars in entertainment today.

By bus

UCL’s Gower Street site is served by many Transport for London bus routes. Buses travelling from north to south stop in Gower Street, immediately outside UCL’s main gate, while those travelling from south to north stop outside Warren Street station, about five minutes’ walk from UCL.
